"With the usual provisos about not hurting others, minimising environmental impact and the like, we should all try to live the life we want to live. If that means being a skinhead, or listening to Bach 24 seven, having a monogamous relationsip or a polygamous one, taking recretational drugs or going to live in the Atacama desert and farm llama... then that's our business and nobody elses. And I write about that attitude... that lifestyle choice, to live and let live. It is central to books as varied as 'A Year in Kronoberg' or 'Skinhead Girl'".
